View Your Student's Report Card Today!
Please read and save the information below on how you can view your student’s grades and other test scores. We encourage you to use your ParentVUE account for the quickest way to see grades, test scores, school calendars, attendance, and more.
When will report cards be released?
Report cards will be released on ParentVUE by Nov. 8, Feb. 3, April 11, and June 18.
Where can I see my student’s grades and test scores?
All PPS report cards are now released on ParentVUE.
To access ParentVUE on your computer or smartphone, visit this web site: https://www.pps.net/parentvue and register for a ParentVUE account if you don’t already have one.
When registering for ParentVUE, you may need to contact your local school to ask for your “activation key,” a unique passcode that protects student privacy.
- After logging into your account, click on the “Report Card” button to see grades, and “Test History” buttons to see test scores.
What if I don’t have a ParentVUE account?
All PPS parents and guardians can sign up for a free ParentVUE account at https://www.pps.net/parentvue. If you no longer have the “activation key” that was issued to you at the beginning of the year, please contact your local school for assistance.
Why is PPS using ParentVUE to release report cards and test scores?
ParentVUE allows schools to share information with parents and guardians in a way that is faster, more thorough, and helps us reach our climate goals to reduce the use of paper and greenhouse emissions. In addition, it saves money that can be used for other purposes.
Can I download and print a copy of my student’s report card or test score report?
Absolutely. After signing into your ParentVUE account on an internet browser or a smartphone, you can download a PDF version of your student’s report card by clicking on the “Documents” link.
PTA Meeting November 12th
The Duniway PTA will be holding their November meeting on Tuesday, November 12th, at 7pm in the Duniway library. All are welcome to attend.
Ruby Bridges Walk to School November 14th
This year Duniway will be participating in Ruby Bridges Walk to School on November 14th!
Six-year-old Ruby Bridges stepped into the history books on November 14, 1960, when she became one of the first students to integrate William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans, becoming a national icon for the civil rights movement. Today her story continues to inspire the next generation of leaders to end racism together one step at a time. Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day (RBWTSD) is the perfect opportunity to teach children about the civil rights movement and make connections to today's collective efforts for change. RBWTSD gives children the opportunity to celebrate Ruby's courage by walking to school.
Rain or shine, Ms. Lisa will be leading our Ruby Bridges Walk (or Roll) to School. For those that participated in our Walk+Roll event earlier this year, the route should look familiar. We will start on SE Woodstock Blvd and SE Reed College Place at 7:20 a.m. Our route will take us South along SE Reed College Place to SE Crystal Springs where we will loop back towards Duniway arriving at school at approximately 7:50 a.m.
Can’t make the whole walk? No worries! Please join us along the route! The map below shows the route and approximate time we will be at each intersection along Reed College Place.
To ensure the safety of our students, we invite parents to accompany and supervise their child during their entire participation in the walk. Thank you!

October Music Spotlight
Third and Fourth Grade students made fortune tellers this month to explore the connection between speech and rhythm. Students settled on three categories and words for each level of their fortune teller, then created original fortunes inside. I enjoyed getting to know students and their creativity better through this unit. We'll circle back to this speech-rhythm connection to fuel student rhythm compositions in Q2!

October PE Spotlight
In the gym we have been working hard and having fun! We moved from our unit on Sportsmanship into noticing the ways we can have fun while being active by playing some of student's favorite spooky season games - Ask your student about their favorite: Ghostbusters Tag, Zombie Tag, Ghost Bowling, or Pass the Pumpkin.
Successful Schools Survey is Now Open!
The Successful Schools Survey is an opportunity for students, staff, and families to provide important feedback on their school environments, learning experiences, and sense of well-being and safety at school. The survey is conducted once every school year to provide timely information to schools, district leadership, and the community, allowing us to make informed decisions about school climate and culture. This year, the survey window is open November 1 to December 6.
Portland Public Schools highly values the input and opinions of its families, and we welcome all PPS parents and guardians to complete this year’s survey. We use the data to help improve our schools, providing targeted feedback and training on how to create healthy school environments that are welcoming for all.
You can complete the Successful Schools Survey online using the link provided below. Please complete one survey per household. If you have more than one student at PPS, we ask that you complete the survey considering the experiences of your eldest child.
The survey will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete and is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Somali, Vietnamese and Chinese.
