Successful Schools Survey!
PPS sends out an annual survey to students, staff and families to gather information about schools. At Bridlemile, we use the School Success Survey results to inform our school improvement plan goals regarding school climate and culture.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Families with more than one student in PPS can respond for their eldest student or take the survey more than once.

Grades 3-5 students will be taking a student survey in school in the next two weeks. (District-wide, all students in grades 3-12 will take the PPS survey.) One of Bridlemile’s school improvement goals is to increase student sense of belonging. To ensure that we have a complete picture of all students, our Bridlemile climate committee has created a separate K-2 survey to gather student feedback.
Bridlemile School Photo Survey
We are gathering family feedback on the recent change in school photographers. Your survey feedback will help us identify areas for improvement and preferences for future photo experiences.
Site Council
Next Site Council Meeting is Wednesday, December 4th, 4:30pm-5:30pm. Site Council will be reviewing SCIP goals. We will meet vitually: meet.google.com/oym-bsch-hkj

Classroom Counseling Lessons
At Bridlemile, all students learn about conflict resolution by using the Kelso's Choice Curriculum. This week, our second-grade classes focused on understanding the difference between "big problems" and "small problems." Big problems—such as those involving safety and bullying—require adult assistance, while small problems are everyday issues that students can work through on their own using choices from Kelso’s wheel.
We’re excited to see our students building these life skills and becoming more confident in managing conflict.
Holiday Assistance
Please see the link below for more information on local organizations that offer support during the holiday season. Many of these spots fill up quickly, so if you're interested go ahead and sign up!
Multnomah County Student Health Centers
Did you know that Multnomah County Student Health Centers are like having a doctor’s office at school? Student Health Centers offer comprehensive primary and mental health care services to all Multnomah County youth ages 5-18. There are no out-of-pocket costs. And they offer Telehealth Appointments which is great news for families that live on the West Side and might have difficulty making an in-person appointment at an Eastside location.
