Beverly Cleary School

A Note from Principal Presley
This week, students seemed to settle into their routines a bit, largely due to the hard work staff has put in to make it happen. Yesterday, our team worked to strategize coverage for next week. It felt a lot like we were coaches creating a game plan or even drafting for fantasy football. The good news is that we’ve got it covered for the most part- it will be an all hands on deck week! I’m grateful to be on a team willing to step up and support! After all, that’s what makes a team a team.
While strategizing and planning was a major part of the week, this week was also filled with such amazing cuteness! First graders had an author share yesterday, and families were beaming as they watched their children share! Fifth grade students were playing Uno at lunch with a gift they received from class exchange (what a fun way to spend lunch)! Eighth grade students were delivering speeches, and many elementary students were able to learn more about Hanukkah from a special guest.
Next week is going to be a busy one- the final push to the winter break. Most of all, our goal is to keep expectations high, sweat the details, and remember that every minute matters! As we head into the weekend, my hope is you all have the best weekend with family.
